Colossal courgette

As an adendum to my lettuce entry ...I couldn't believe my eyes, for, as you see, my eyes weren't even open immediately upon picking the courgette!

(This photo was taken last month, by the way. My lettuce (in the background) was already out of control! At the moment the plant is as tall as me when perpendicular to the ground.)
