May daze ...

What a month! We've had all seasons over the last 4 weeks, and as a family we've had more excuses to celebrate than you can poke the proverbial stick at.

Birthdays: Maya's, Youre's, Dad's birthday, Jan's (Ed's Dad's), Ed's, Tristan's (my sister Su's boyf), Gerrie's (Ed's Mum's) birthday
Anniversaries: Ed and I celebrated 1 year together on 14 May
Wedding stuff: Lenise and Nico's nuptials, having a trial hair-do for my own wedding, getting invites arranged
Challenges: Going for my driving licence
Miscellaneous: Mother's Day, house and garden spring cleaning

Put on my old manager's hat and bossed around my sister with the design of Ed and my wedding invitations! They'll be sent out next week or so. See below the 'before' shot of my trial bridal hair-do. (Part two will come in mid-July.)

And the countdown begins to my Aussie family arriving in the Netherlands (only 5 weeks!) As our old friend Effie (and arguably, my long lost sister) would say, 'How excitement!'
